What’s Your Favorite Snack?
One of my favorite go to snacks is a handful of nuts. Usually a handful of pistachios, walnuts, or almonds will hit the spot. Especially when I am wanting to snack but don't know what I want to snack on.
Keeping different options of nuts on hand for snacking will help you from that dreaded kitchen walk we all do when we want a snack… and usually end up reaching for something full of sugar, or other yucky processed stuff. I always bring some with with me when I travel, or when just on the go in general.
No matter what dietary plan you follow: keto, low calorie, low carb, vegan, Mediterranean, or whole foods you can allow for this nutrient rich food to become part of your plan.
Nuts are so good for you too! They are full of antioxidants, may help with inflammation, and are high in fiber.
Try adding them to your snack routine, throw some in a salad, or a bowl of oatmeal.
